Green Mountain holds the full complement of licenses required for a vertically integrated operation. All licenses are issued by Health Canada including cannabis cultivation (Jan 2022); processing (Sept 2023) and extraction/medical sales (May 2024). The facility is built on a wholly owned plot of 16 acres incorporating our greenhouse, nursery, drying room, processing areas and office space.
An optimized grow environment defines the quality of the plant. Our building design incorporates natural heating and cooling, automated climate control solutions and a closed loop nutrient delivery system. Our power is drawn from the multiple hydroelectric plants operating in British Columbia allowing for reduced cost per KwH compared to most commercial growers. We are using structured water from our on-site aquifer which is “activated” using Schauberger vortex principles for stronger, healthier plants.
Our greenhouse facility is a modern high-volume structure manufactured in Canada and designed specifically for growing cannabis. The state-of-the-art construction is highly automated allowing for less manpower and associated overheads. We employ mixed lighting meaning the plants reach optimal growth using natural sunlight supplemented by high efficiency LED lighting.
Green Mountain takes a highly scientific approach to cultivation. We count three plant science PhDs within our cultivation team led by Dr Mirza, member of the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame.
